Attached, please find a conglomeration of documents put together after our Giant Schnauzer, Barron, succumbed to Cancer after consuming nearly a lifetime of grain-based foods (the Vet told us he was allergic to all meats - ridiculous in retrospect!)...live and learn. This is a culmination of research we amassed that we (and hopefully you) would never lose a pet this way again. It may anger you and you may not even believe it because the manufacturers of foods do not have to disclose to you what is in the product, only what they put into the product - plenty of deception there. Keep in mind that the pet food industry is worth billions to companies and that most make their foods with the throw-aways that are considered unfit for human consumption. These throw-aways are also fed to the meat products we eat, so don't think you and your diet are out of the woods either!
Don't get angry - get smart. If you have lost a pet to the common diseases of American animals, change their diets to what they would normally eat, were they not stuck with our choices for them, based upon great marketing techniques, pretty chunks of food in pretty colors (they cannot see anyway)...
