What is the FDA doing now? I heard we have to reply by April 30, 2007 but it is hard to find out where to write or who to call. Why are they always so underhanded in trying to take away our freedoms? This is America, for God's sake! Rod - Alhambra
Dear Rod...the latest attack is to regulate all supplements, including vitamins, minerals, herbs, natural lotions, toothpastes, etc., but the deadline to protest is now May 29, 2007. Unless we all make it perfectly clear that we will not tolerate the government interfering in our personal choices for natural remedies, we believe our freedoms to choose what is best for each of us will go the way of the rest of the world who, thanks to the World Health Organization, must now obtain doctors prescriptions for many of the items we purchase everyday without thought.
We recommend writing to the authority in charge of this latest attack on America; please do not email them, as emails are disregarded (no way to verify if the sender is a U.S. citizen, etc.):
Division of Dockets Management (HFA-305), Food & Drug Administration Administration, 5630 Fishers Lane, Room 1061, Rockville, MD 20852
ALSO, WE RECOMMEND CALLING:
Sheryl Lard-Whiteford (301-827-0379), Daniel Nguyen (301-827-8971), Ted Stevens (301-594-1184), Wayne Amchin (301-827-6739)
PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHMENTS FOR THE FULL FDA PROPOSAL, ADDRESS, TELEPHONE NUMBERS OF CONTACTS AND WEBSITE EMAIL INFORMATION OF THE FDA DEPARTMENT OVERSEEING THIS PROPOSAL AND ALSO A SAMPLE LETTER FOR MAILING OR EMAILING!
Our thanks to everyone who participates!
