I heard on your talk show on radio that one can detoxify one's body by using Martinelli's Apple Juice for 3 days and and on the third day to add olive oil. Please could you give me that recipe/procedure in detail.  I am constipated regularly and putting on weight even though I am checking  my diet and doing exrcises. Please reply back. Thanks, Vinnie

Dear Vinnie,
If you are chronically constipated, you may have fecal impaction. We found that this cleanse works best when a person has at least one bowel movement per day before proceeding. If this is not the case, try using RenewLife CleanseMore (2 capsules at bedtime or up to as many as 2 in the morning and 2 at bedtime, if necessary) until you reach at least one bowel movement per day.

The Liver/Gallbladder cleanse requires no food and no drink other than the apple juice and water for 2-3 days. It is best not to take supplements during this cleanse; however, we never tell anyone to stop taking required prescription medication (this should be discussed with your physician).

Drink 8 oz filtered apple juice every hour from the time you get up until the time you go to bed for two days (3 if you can tolerate it). We like Martinelli’s no sugar added apple juice because it is from 5 apple types, including Granny Smith, and it is widely available.

Drink distilled water as wanted. Just before bedtime of the second day (3rd day if you made it three days), add 4 oz olive oil to warm apple juice, stir well and drink (use 8 oz olive oil if constipated). Early the next morning, the body begins expelling a greenish clay-type looking matter of old bile and debris, commonly referred to as gallstones, parasites and other toxins. This is caused by the malic acid in the apple juice dissolving the deposits in the liver and gallbladder; the olive oil lubricates and flushes the deposits out of the system. Eat a light breakfast and resume a normal lunch and dinner.

Diabetics may wish to consider using unsweetened cranberry or freshly-squeezed lime juice mixed with water; however, a better alternative for diabetics may be to cleanse the body with Wobenzym for several months. Consult with your physician for the best cleansing plan for you.
