I heard CODEX and CAFTA can't take away our vitamins so you why do you keep talking about it? Are you just trying to get everyone upset about this stuff? My congressman doesn't know anything about what you are talking about. ~ Will/Long Beach, CA
Dear Will ~ CODEX and CAFTA allegedly cannot supercede American law; however, many are arguing about this as a new world order managed by the WTO and WHO. The problem, in our minds, is the newest bill introduced by Sandra Davis of San Diego, CA, co-sponsored by Henry Waxman of Los Angeles, CA and John Dingell of Dearborn, MI. That bill, HR3156, seeks to overturn the more than effective DSHEA bill of 1994 and to systematically remove each vitamin, mineral, herb and supplement with or without trials to determine whether or not these products contributed to health problems.
I encourage you to read the attachment, which discusses possible scenarios if HR3156 is enacted and contact information, if you choose to act.
