Resolving triglyceride issues, high blood sugar and pancreatic attacks is all about resolving dietary habits. If you find yourself doubled over in pain, pale or jaundiced, unable to vomit or have significant bowel movements, claminess, etc., you may be having a pancreatic attack! The more sugars, chemical sugar sweeteners, processed foods, alcohol, sweet drinks, grains and starches you consume, the higher your cholesterol and triglyceride levels will go. Most prescription statins prescribed for this do not work unless you change your eating habits, so why not just do the deed? Most medical professionals put their patients on a "liquid diet" in lieu of hospitalization; however, that may not be best either.

We suggest following the Anti-fungal Diet AND the Anti-fungal Rotation Regimen first and foremost; here are the links:

Diets and Cleanses – Anti-Fungal Diet: http://kb.vitaganza.com/questions/48/Anti-Fungal+Diet+Recommendations

Fungus and Anti-Fungals – Anti-Fungal Rotation Regimen: http://kb.vitaganza.com/questions/50/Anti-Fungal+Rotation+Regimen

The problem with a "liquid diet" is that most doctors and hospitals (at least here in the U.S.) include Jello gelatin or pudding (which has sugar or chemical sugar sweeteners), tea and coffee (with tannins and caffeine), soy milk (soy is indigestible and causes gastrointestinal trouble for many, plus it alters hormone levels), ice cream (fats and sugars or chemical sugar sweeteners, not to mention preservatives, thickeners, etc.), fruit juices (sugar, sugar, sugar), cooked cereals (starches/grains convert to sugar), strained soups (ok if homemade only) and vegetable juices (fine if no tomatoes or starches).

In our opinion, and in order to prevent hospitalization due to pancreatitis, one should consume only raw foods to overcome this illness. This includes salads from lettuces, cabbages, onions, radishes, carrots, celery, tree-grown nuts and seeds (no starchy or high-glycemic root vegetables, such as tomatoes, corn, peas, jicama and no peanuts). You may also consume lightly steamed broccoli, cauliflower and Brussels sprouts and homemade vegetable broths. If you use dressing on the salad, we suggest mixing raw apple cider vinegar, olive oil, fresh garlic and basil. Making a tea with parsley is also helpful. After 2-4 weeks, you may add-in cooked organic chicken and wild fish (not farm-raised). If you can remain on this regimen for 2-3 months, so much the better.

Then, from a supplement standpoint, during the raw regimen above, we suggest taking Vital ImmuSol or NSC-100 (at least 2 at bedtime; however, 2 upon rising and 2 at bedtime for a minimum of one month is better) and probiotics (at least 100 billion flora per day; 200 billion or more is better and be sure to take at least half of this daily dosage at bedtime).

Once you return to a diet in which you consume vegetables, proteins and whole-grains, please consider using Glucose Support, Raw Pancreas glandular and Holy Basil for 3-6 months until you incorporate a healthier diet into your daily lifestyle.

Red Yeast Rice (after years of experience, the only one we found that works consistently for our customers is Nature's Plus sustained release), just one per day, is the alternative to any statin drug and the bane of the pharmaceutical industry's existence, since they derive billions from statin drug prescriptions each year. Red yeast generally does not carry the harsh side-effects of statin drugs and as more people discover it, the more people are dropping statin drug use. Please keep in mind that, whether you use a statin drug or red yeast rice, CoQ10 is an absolute must. Consume at least 100mg CoQ10 per day and more is better.

Regarding your high triglycerides and diabetes, this again is about diet and specifically sugar consumption (keeping in mind that grains and starches convert to sugar in gastric acid and that alcohol is pure sugar). Chemical sugar sweeteners, such as Sweet n' Low, Splenda and Equal, are every bit as bad, as all of this triggers the pancreas to overwork, creating further strain on the adrenals, thyroid and pituitary, not to mention the liver and gallbladder. And, by the way, the appendix is an integral part of the entire gastrointestinal/urinary tract system too, as it is responsible for producing beneficial bacteria for proper digestion and immune response to foreign invaders.
