Dear Bill; because of the length of your email and the concerns expressed, I am answering your concerns below (in bold orange) throughout the body of your inquiry...Vicki
Dear John & Vicky,
I am looking for some supplement recommendations for my family.I have three girls, ages 6, 8 & 10.I have heard you recommend Beta Glucan and probiotics for children; however none of my girls can swallow pills at this point. What would you recommend? Also I have stopped giving them their prescription vitamin because of the Fluoride. Is there a children's multi-vitamin you recommend? Children do well with therapeutic doses of Ultra Micro-Plex powder and either Vital ImmuSol or NSC-100 (just open up capsules and place then contents into a spoonful of water or unsweetened applesauce). Is there a reason your daughters would be taking a "prescription vitamin" instead of a natural multi-vitamin/mineral formula?
My oldest has pretty bad environmental allergies. She takes Zrytec, Nasonex, & Patenol for about 9 months of the year.I would love to wane her off these meds through the use of supplements if possible. She also has some form of eczema, I think. She has small pimples on her cheeks and the outside of her upper arms.Besides the appearance, it does not itch or bother her. Allergies and eczema are most likely fungal issues (read about fungus and its symptoms by typing FUNGUS into the Search the KnowledgeBase box), which, because of all the issues your wife is battling right now, probably originated from her (medications, diet, surgeries, during her lifetime, from birth up to the time she conceived), which the girls may have "inherited" during your wife's pregnancy with each.
The main reason I am writing however, is for my wife. She is a 35 year old working mother.About four months ago her health seemed to take a turn for the worse. She began experiencing long heavy periods with abnormal clotting along with worse than usually PMS symptoms including migraine headaches. She gained roughly 20 pounds in 2-3 months. What happened to your wife in the past year that may have resulted in this sudden downturn? Kokoro Women's Balance Creme and either EstroHerb Creme or Transitions should be helpful; if she consumes soy or any foods that contain soy, we suggest that she stop. She may also benefit from the Trucker/Commuter Package for 1-2 months to systemically cleanse and rebuild. She was tired and weak all the time. She had swollen tender glands and acne breakouts which is unusual for her.Mentally, her memory also suffered and she has been a bit depressed (although I know part of the depression is because of the weight gain) and irritable She also has bad joint pain which seems to migrate to different areas on different days, but often in her feet and hands.Sometime she is unable to stand in the morning. probably all rooted in fungus - see the articles under FUNGUS AND ANTI-FUNGALS in this KnowledgeBase. So the doctor visits began.
OB/GYN - was tested for cervical and uterine cancer, but they found nothing. She discussed alternative contraception options (my wife is currently taking "Seasonal") and the possibility of an ablation to treat the menstrual symptoms. Also, recommended thyroid testing. ENT – Tested for hypothyroidism.TSH levels were OK. Also re-check thyroid nodules' which were found 2 years ago. Little to no grow at this point. Recommend seeing an Endocrinologist.
Gastroenterologist – Check for Crohn's flair-up (see medical history below) and ran many blood tests including Lyme's.Everything looked good except CRP was high 15.8. Retested her TSH levels still OK at 1.32. Crohn's is a progression of fungal overgrowth in which the fungal rhizomes are breaking through the intestinal wall (Leaky Gut Syndrome) and progress to the symptoms she is currently enduring (type CROHNS into the Search the KnowledgeBase box); this may also lead to chronic fatigue and severe pain/inflammation throughout the body.
Endocrinologist – urine and blood tests for endocrine system.Again everything was fine. Recommended she see a rheumatologist & pulmonologist which is our next move. After the OB/GYN visit, I heard Dr Helen on the radio and we contacted her.She recommended Progonal (a progesterone cream) which seems to have helped many of the PMS and menstrual symptoms. Currently my wife still has hand and foot pain, frequent and sometimes severe headaches, acne breakouts, and fatigue. Her weight has stabilized over the last month or so, but she has been unable to lose any of the added weight. Also worth noting, I had my wife perform the spit test I heard you suggest on your show. Her spit stayed clumped together and floated.
As far as medical history, she was diagnosed with Crohn's disease when she was 14 and spent the better part of 3 years taking 60-100 mgs of prednisone. Finally, after switching doctors, she had a bowel re-section at 17 years old. She continues to take Asacol daily but, praise God has not had any flare-ups since surgery. Over the past 5 years or so, her only illnesses have been numerous bouts with laryngitis and sinus infections, both requiring antibiotics (Z-pak the only one that she seems to be able to tolerate and not be allergic to).
We believe everything you discuss in this email is rooted in fungus and that the entire family would benefit from the Anti-Fungal Diet and Anti-Fungal Rotation Regimen. You may read about these and fungus here in the KnowledgeBase under "Diets and Cleanses" and "Fungus and Anti-fungus."
Any products recommendations to help her and the family would be appreciated. Currently, we do not take nay vitamins or supplements. A friend has recommended that she try artichoke pills for weight loss, but I do not know anything about them. Do you recommend them? Artichoke pills are not considered to be anti-fungals or weight loss pills; however, they will not generally harm your wife. Eliminating all of the sugars, chemical sugar sweeteners, processed foods, alcohol, sodas, etc. will result in weight loss, increased energy and better health, assuming there is no other information left out here. If there is further information not shared here, please call the show weekdays between 5-6PM Eastern/2-3PM Pacific toll-free at 1-877-956-9566.
I am a little frustrated and worried because the doctors do not seem to know what the problem is and the severity of her symptoms seems to change day to day. Thank you in advance for your time and any assistance you might be able to offer.Sorry for the length of this letter.
Best Regards, Bill/Tampa, FL
