Frustrated with Government? What can you do?
As an American, it is your duty to vote, and to tell the President and Legislators whether you support or oppose their ideas. If you do not vote and you do not share your concerns with the President and Legislators, you have no room to complain - that's that!
It is easy to send emails, letters and make telephone calls to the President. Here is the information, as follows:
HOW TO CONTACT THE PRESIDENT – WHITE HOUSE
BY SNAIL-MAIL:
The White House 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW Washington, DC 20500
Please include your e-mail address
BY EMAIL:
http://www.whitehouse.gov/CONTACT/
BY TELEPHONE & FACSIMILE:
Comments: 202-456-1111 Switchboard: 202-456-1414 FAX: 202-456-2461
It is a little tougher to contact your Legislators, easier to contact the Senate and something of a nightmare to contact your House Representative (but of course there are more of them!) Here is some contact information, with more specific contact information included in volumes with the attachement below.
HOW TO CONTACT THE SENATE
BY SNAIL-MAIL:
For correspondence to U.S. Senators:
Office of Senator (Name) United States Senate Washington, D.C. 20510
For correspondence to Senate Committees:
(Name of Committee) United States Senate Washington, D.C. 20510
HOW TO CONTACT THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
SNAIL MAIL AND EMAIL:
EMAIL in General, specifically to Madam Speaker, Nancy Pelosi - AmericanVoices@mail.house.gov
The House of Representatives does not make it as easy as the President and Senate do, to contact them. Here is the link you may use to obtain your Representative's specific contact information:
